Faucets, Fixtures and Appliances

Faucets
We install and repair all types and brands of faucets. We fix leaky faucets and restore pressure. We also obtain and install any faucet on the market. Most importantly, our staff can advise you as to which faucets are high quality and which are merely high priced.

Toilets and Bidets
We repair leaky toilets, unclog clogged toilets, and also help you select new toilets.  We can work with you to pick out toilets that are reliable and energy-efficient, as well as comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.  Of course, we will ensure that the toilet will marry with the piping below it.  And we will be sure to tell you what you should and should not flush down the toilet.

Showers and Tubs (Including Whirlpool Tubs)
We repair showers and tubs, including leaky faucets and clogged drains.  We can also help you design and then install custom showers.  We calculate the necessary flow rates and pipe sizes before you install the tile. We also help make sure you have a supply of hot water that is sufficient for the new custom shower. We also install shower pans, heated shower floors and seats.

Sinks
Our technicians can help you with routine sink problems, including pressure problems (low pressure or sporadic pressure), clogged sinks, or leaky faucets.  We can also help you select and then install a new sink.

Garbage Disposers and Other Kitchen Appliances
Mahoney Plumbing’s technicians can fix problems you are having with your current disposers, from leaks to clogs.  We can also install new disposers.  When our technician comes to visit, he will also make sure to tell you what you should and should not put down the disposer.

Our technicians can also install most other kitchen appliances, including dishwashers, stoves, cooktops, refrigerators, chilled water dispensers, instant hot water dispensers and ice maker water lines.  We will make sure that all connections are proper.  We can also fix any leaks that may occur with any of these appliances.

How Long Should Your Garbage Disposal Last?

Outside of clogs and jams, the garbage disposal unit usually lasts between eight to 12 years.

You are welcome to visit our Highland Park showroom to meet with us and see our selection of faucets and fixtures.  Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 1:30 pm.
